This class is an introduction to Spanish Language course designed for grades 1-4. This Fun and engaging course will cover basic Spanish specifically tailored to Elementary age children. This class is open to both new and experienced Spanish speakers. Min 9/Max 16


Engineering for Kids

S1 Jr. Mechanical Engineering: Let’s Make Toys

Grades: 5K – 1st

Time: 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

Fee: $105/R  ;  $115/NR

In the Junior Mechanical Engineering: Let’s Make Toys classes, our youngest engineers will be introduced to fundamental concepts of energy, materials, and movement. Students will explore and construct six different toys throughout this unit, including spinners, magical boomerang cans, wind-up whirligigs, and more. Min/Max: 8/14


S1 MinecraftEdu: Traveling Into The Future


Grades: 2nd - 5th

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

Fee: $135/R  ;  $145/NR


Join us in an apocalyptic future, one where the earth has been ravaged by a series of natural disasters! Minecraft is a fun game, but it also has many educational components. In this session, students will work in groups completing various educational programming challenges in Minecraft. Students will work with command blocks and a drag-and-drop programming language to learn the basics of computer programming, engineering, and problem solving. Min/Max: 10/20

S2 Jr. Robotics: Play Soccer

Grades: 5K - 1st

Time: 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

Fee: $70/R  ;  $80/NR

This class is a perfect mixture of fun and learning, using LEGO® WeDo™ Robots. Using LEGO® bricks, students build an airplane rescue, a giant escape, and a sailboat storm. They also learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer. Min/Max: 8/14


S2  Electrical Engineering: Electrified

Grades: 2nd - 5th

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

Fee: $95/R  ;  $130/NR


During the Electrical Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine basic electronics and circuits. Students experiment with Snap Circuits® to discover the capabilities of major electronic components. In addition, students build their own flashlights and explore the world of magnetic energy by building their own Magnetic Levitation vehicle.Min/Max: 10/20

Jr. Chemical Engineering: Fun Concoctions

Grades: 5K - 1st

Time: 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

Fee: $100/R  ; $110/NR

 The Junior Chemical Engineering classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of solids, liquids, and solutions. Students investigate the properties of several crazy concoctions and make their own samples of bubbles, play dough, flub, and more.. Min/Max: 8/14


S3 Robotics: Ev3 Mission To Mars

Grades: 2nd - 5th

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

Fee: $135/R  ;  $145/NR

During the Robotics Mission to Mars classes, students design and program robots to explore an unknown planet, find safe shelter, and collect soil samples from the planet. Students use LEGO® Robotics and computers to learn principles of robotics, computer programming, and teamwork. Min/Max: 10/20
