I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade at Lake Mills Middle School. I look forward to working with children each and every day. My passion in life is to help children realize their potential and value as human beings. I am lucky to be able to do this every day I come to work!
A little background about me: I grew up in Lake Mills and have known since kindergarten that I wanted to be a teacher. After high school, I attended UW-Stevens Point, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in elementary, middle, and special education. I also graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Master’s Degree in education.
Prior to teaching in Lake Mills, I taught special education in Beaver Dam for three years. I joined the staff at Prospect Elementary in 2006 as a special education teacher. In 2007, I began teaching 5th grade and have been working with 5th graders ever since. I am part of the teaching team that moved from Prospect Elementary School in 2010 when the new Middle School was completed.
I live in Lake Mills with my husband and two children. We enjoy spending time playing together as a family, both inside and outside!
