Youth Basketball Officials 

Position Summary:
Youth Basketball Officials are responsible for officiating recreational youth basketball games (Grades 1-6) in a fair, safe, and fun manner. Officials ensure that games are conducted according to league rules and promote a positive environment for players, coaches, and spectators. Games will be on Saturdays at LMES & LMMS, from December to February. 

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of basketball rules and basic officiating procedures.
  • Previous officiating experience preferred, but training will be provided. 
  • Ability to make quick, fair decisions under pressure. 
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Saturday availability 
  • Must be at least 14 years old.
