School Resource Officer

The School Resource Officer position is a partnership between the Lake Mills Area School District and the Lake Mills Police Department. The SRO serves students and staff in the public schools as well as the two private schools in our community, helping support school safety, build positive relationships, assist with school programs and events, and respond to the needs of students and families.

The SRO’s salary is funded jointly by the Lake Mills Police Department and the school district, reflecting the officer’s role in serving the broader school community.
