New Course Proposal Process

November 1

Staff member and department discuss the course/program and content with the principal to assess impact on staff, facility, articulation, etc.  If the staff member receives the principal's approval, the principal and teacher submit the new course/program proposal form to the Director of Teaching and Learning.

December 1

Administrative team approves or rejects proposed courses. Courses approved will move to the December board meeting for approval.

Alternate Course Approval Process

Alternate courses offered to students to meet individual needs will be communicated to the District Administrator by the building principal for approval.

If approval is granted, a description of the course will be provided to the Administrative Team.
