I am the Multilingual Learner Program Coordinator for the district and teh Multilingual Learner teacher at the Middle and High School. I work with English Language Learners in 5K through 12th grade.  I have a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Cultural Studies, a BS in Education with a minor in Spanish and my Masters in Education Curriculum and Instruction with certification in ESL and Bilingual Education.  I have studied extensively in Guatemala, Mexico and Nicaragua and have traveled throughout Central America.  I have been teaching since 2009 working as a Third Grade Bilingual teacher and then as an EL teacher.  I enjoy spending time with my husband.  We love to travel, kayak, hike, practice Yoga, and explore great restaurants.  I love to read, create art, and spend time with my parents.  

Soy la maestra/coordinadora del programa de ELL del distrito. Trabajo con estudiantes del idioma inglés en los grados 5K al 12. Tengo una Licenciatura en Antropología Cultural y Estudios Culturales, una Licenciatura en Educación con una especialización en español y mi Maestría en Currículo e Instrucción de Educación con certificación en ESL y Educación Bilingüe. He estudiado extensamente en Guatemala, México y Nicaragua y he viajado por Centroamérica. He estado enseñando desde 2009 trabajando como maestra bilingüe de tercer grado y luego como maestra de ELL. Disfruto pasar tiempo con mi esposo. Nos encanta viajar, ir en kayak, caminar, practicar yoga y explorar excelentes restaurantes. Me encanta leer, crear arte y pasar tiempo con mis padres.
